Jon is a general practice partner in our city office, specialising in law firms, media businesses and financial services firms. He trained and qualified with Kingston Smith, joining the graduate training scheme in 2001 before heading off to spend 9 months working with a KSi associate firm in Sydney, Australia. On his return, Jon managed a portfolio of clients, focussing on small and medium sized owner managed businesses and listed companies with turnovers upto £400m.

Within Kingston Smith, Jon is an active member of both the firm’s Professional Firms and Financial Services sector groups and he has an unhealthy knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. He has extensive experience of advising sole traders, partnerships and companies on all areas of their financial affairs which not only covers accounting and tax matters but the many and varied challenges involved with running a business on a daily basis.

As well as his client responsibilities, Jon sits on Kingston Smith’s Technical Committee.
